Runs into right hand en route to early TKO loss
WelterweightBellator
November 26, 2017
Nash was defeated by Song Kenan via TKO (punches) at 4:46 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night: Shanghai on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Nash didn't have a chance to get anything going in this fight. He was kicked in the groin in the opening seconds, and once the action was resumed he ran into a right hand from Kenan. Nash was dropped, seemed to go stiff, and instinctively shot for a single leg takedown. As the American clung to Kenan's leg, he absorbed follow-up punches and Herb Dean was forced to step in and stop the fight.

Headed to China against Song Kenan
WelterweightBellator
November 21, 2017
Nash will face Song Kenan in a welterweight contest at UFC Fight Night 122 on November 25 in Shanghai, UFC.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Nash is still looking for his first win with the UFC since debuting in January. "Nashty" thus far has shown significant takedown skills, maintaining a 100 percent takedown defense while landing 2.4 in his two matches with the promotion. However, it would appear that he hasn't been able to capitalize on these as he's suffered second-round KOs in both outings. He holds a 8-3 record (0-2 UFC).
Fades after solid first round at UFC Fight Night Glasgow

Nash lost to Danny Roberts via KO (punch) at 3:59 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Sunday in Glasgow, Scotland
ANALYSIS
Nash clearly wanted to engage in just enough striking in order to score takedowns. This strategy worked great in the first round. He landed a few takedowns and kept Roberts from getting into a rhythm. However, early in the second round, he failed on a few takedowns. It became clear that he would need to engage on the feet. That played in Roberts' hand. The British fighter landed a straight punch that finished the fight. Nash join the UFC this year, but he has now lost both of his bouts against Jingliang Li and Roberts.

ANALYSIS

Looks strong prior to getting finished in UFC debut
WelterweightBellator
January 28, 2017
Nash lost to Li Jingliang via KO (punches) at 4:45 of Round 2 at UFC on FOX 23 on Saturday in Denver.
ANALYSIS
Nash was cruising to a decision victory prior to being blasted late in Round 2. Nash was the better fighter in Round 1 and clearly the better fighter in the second frame, but he was unable to get out of the way of a pair of crushing right hands that ended the fight. Nash did a very good job of sticking and moving and of controlling the pace of the fight. He should be proud of his effort in his UFC debut despite the loss. He showed more than enough to get himself another opportunity with the company.
