Headed for healthy scratch?
Desharnais looks poised to serve as a healthy scratch in Game 4 against the Stars on Wednesday after staying on the ice late at morning skate, Ryan Rishaug of TSN reports.
ANALYSIS
All signs point to Desharnais being taken out of the lineup Wednesday in favor of Philip Broberg, who has served as a healthy scratch for the entire postseason thus far. For his part, the 28-year-old Desharnais is pointless in his last five outings while also registering a minus-4 rating and 10 PIM over that stretch. The fact that the Quebec native logged just over 15 minutes of ice time in each of his last two contests would also seem to indicate that he isn't currently fully trusted by the coaching staff.
