Latest Fantasy Rumors
Heading to KHL?
According to Darren Dreger of TSN, Okhotyuk agreed to a two-year contract with CSKA Moscow of the KHL on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
There's a chance Okhotyuk's KHL deal could be voided by the IIHF. CSKA received a one-year ban on international transfers after Philadelphia's Ivan Fedotov played with the KHL team despite having a valid NHL contract. The Flames intend to qualify Okhotyuk, who is a pending restricted free agent this summer, to retain his NHL rights, per Julian McKenzie of The Athletic.

2020 Fantasy Outlook
Okhotyuk was invited to camp but has little chance of making the NHL this season. The 20-year-old blueliner has shown limited offensive acumen with the OHL's Ottawa 67's over the past two years, totaling five goals and 31 assists in 95 games. A season or two in the AHL to hone his defensive craft could set Okhotyuk on a path to a stay-at-home NHL role, but he's unlikely to garner fantasy consideration in his prime, let alone now.
