Greene is still rehabbing from a knee injury that caused him to miss the entire 2023 season, but he is expected to be ready for fall camp, and subsequently, for the start of the new campaign, assuming there are no setbacks. During his last healthy season, Greene caught 37 passes for 642 yards and six scores across 13 games.

2020 Fantasy Outlook
Greene's final four games of 2019 have resulted in some offseason hype. After not playing in prior, Greene saw action down the stretch thanks to a shoulder injury to star Sage Surratt, and took full advantage while preserving a redshirt in the process. Highlighted by a seven catch, 172 yard, one touchdown breakout at Syracuse, Greene tallied 13 grabs, 249 yards and two scores overall. You can say that's inflated by one game and wouldn't be wrong, but doubting the 6-foot-2 freshman eligible's potential seems irresponsible. The Deacons offense has produced three 1,000 yard receivers in the past two seasons, and will need to replace both Kendall Hinton and Scotty Washington, who combined for 107 catches, 1,608 yards and 11 touchdowns. There shouldn't be much concern with Sam Hartman replacing Jamie Newman full time under center, but there could be some hiccups in Greene's development as he appears more a mirror image of Surratt rather than a complement. At worst, Greene is a nice long term stash, and at best he's a terrific late lottery ticket.
