Bucks Top Celtics To Snap Losing Streak
The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Boston Celtics, 104-91, at Fiserv Forum on Tuesday.

The Bucks (48-31) snapped a four-game losing streak with a huge home win over the Celtics (62-17) in front of 17,493 fans. However, the game ended sourly for the Bucks since Giannis Antetokounmpo had to leave due to a calf injury in the second half. The Bucks started the game on a solid note and raced to a 37-21 lead in the first quarter. Milwaukee never looked back the rest of the way, and the Bucks bolstered their lead even further following a 26-22 score in the second quarter. Even though Boston showed signs of fight in the third quarter and outscored Milwaukee by a 24-15 score, though it was not enough to mount a comeback. The Bucks would close things out following a 26-24 score in the final 12 minutes. With the win, the Bucks moved to 30-11 at home, while the Celtics fell to 27-14 on the road.

Patrick Beverley notched 20 points, 10 rebounds and three assists to lead the Bucks. Khris Middleton had 12 points, nine assists and six rebounds. Brook Lopez posted 15 points and six rebounds. Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists before departing the contest in the second half. Bobby Portis posted 15 points off the bench. The Bucks shot 53.1 percent from the field and 47.2 percent from deep.

Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 22 points, six assists and five rebounds. Jaylen Brown finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds while adding four steals and three assists. Jrue Holiday had 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists. No other Boston player scored in double digits in this one. The Celtics shot 39.8 percent from the field and 32.7 percent from three-point range.
