Recommended Pickup
Greg Holland, P, KC
I briefly mentioned Holland in the "closer watch" section above, and he seems like a good answer for the "Who should I pick up with two days left?" question. As mentioned above, Holland has apparently taken over the closer reins from the injured Joakim Soria, and there might be a save or two waiting for him with the Royals' offense acting perky of late. He's also the kind of guy who might appear in a middle inning if a save chance isn't coming, and he could K several in either situation. I could also see Holland challenge Soria for the closer role in 2012 if Soria continues to slide.
Other recent recommendations:Jarrod Parker, Chris Parmelee, Steve Cishek, Drew Pomeranz, Jerry Sands, Octavio Dotel
