Meesseman will sit out the 2023 WNBA campaign, Nieuwsblad reports.
ANALYSIS
Meesseman indicated in early February that she may sit out the WNBA campaign if her overseas team -- Turkish Fenerbahce -- qualified for Euros, and it appears that'll be the case. She doesn't know if they'll qualify yet, but she can't take any risks, saying "that would be asking for another injury. I also long for a little calm."

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
Meesseman has indicated she will be playing in the summer's international EuroBasket tournament and has decided to sit out the 2023 WNBA season.
Meesseman was one of the centerpieces of the Mystics' offense during the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign. With many of the regular stars opting out or sitting out the season, Meesseman posted a career-best 4.5 assists per game in addition to 13.0 points and 5.3 rebounds over a career-high 31.7 minutes per game. After sitting out 2021 due to fatigue, Meesseman returns to the WNBA in 2022 with the defending champions in Chicago. Given the Sky's star-studded lineup, Meesseman won't be quite as featured this season. Still, Meesseman's ability to contribute across the board should make her a valuable fantasy option in most formats.
