Garcia announced his retirement as a player on Wednesday and he's now set to begin his coaching career at Portuguese club Boavista.

Garcia came up through Real Madrid's academy and made 31 appearances for the senior club before moving on and winning league titles with Benfica, Manchester City and Zenit over the course of his career. The 35-year-old made 96 La Liga appearances throughout stints with Madrid, Osasuna and Real Betis, and he earned two caps with the Spanish National Team, but he finished his career in Portugal with Boavista, where he is now set to become a coach.
