Li posted a four-day total of 22-under par at Golfclub Munchen Eichenried en route to a playoff victory at the BMW International Open.

ANALYSIS
What a finish in Germany. Li has played quite well in Europe lately and finally put it all together this week. He essentially went wire-to-wire in Munich and sat atop the leaderboard all weekend long. Playing a course with a number of birdie opportunities and reachable par-5s, Li carded four eagles on the week, which led the field. He also carded 21 birdies in regulation. The 26-year-old from China entered the final round leading by three and dueled with Thomas Pieters down the stretch. He stepped up when it mattered most, birdieing the final two holes to force a playoff and holing a clutch 40-foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole to seal the victory. With the result, Li now lays claim to three career DP World Tour titles, and he will will see a significant jump from his current position of 55th in the DP World standings. He will also climb into the top 200 in the World Golf Rankings.
