Logan was hired by the LSU football program Tuesday as a defensive line analyst for the 2020 season, Brooks Kubena of The Advocate reports.
ANALYSIS
Logan last suited up in the NFL for the Titans in 2018, producing just 14 tackles (five solo) across 15 games. His move to coaching likely spells the end of his playing career, where he racked up 230 tackles (161 solo) and seven sacks across six seasons in the NFL.

Logan signed with the Titans this offseason after one year in Kansas City, where he amassed 52 tackles (35 solo), 1.5 sacks and one pass defensed in 15 games. The 28-year-old is slated to start at nose tackle in the Titans' 3-4 defense next to Jurrell Casey and DaQuan Jones.
Logan posted a career-high 2.5 sacks in 2016, adding two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery to his fantasy resume. Unfortunately, he also saw a significant dip to a career-low 24 tackles (16 solo). He's expected to take the place of nose tackle Dontari Poe on the Chiefs' defensive line in 2017, but that likely won’t result in much, if any, statistical improvement.
Since being taken by the Eagles in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Logan has developed into an effective, run-stopping nose tackle. He proved he may be among the best last year, too, as he finished as ProFootballFocus.com's 11th-ranked defensive lineman against the run in 2015 by racking up 55 tackles and one sack in only 14 games. He finished last season on IR with a calf injury, which shouldn't cause him trouble in 2016, but if he can stay healthy for the entire season, Logan has a great chance to build upon his impressive 2015 campaign.
Logan had a sturdy second year in the league as the Eagles’ starting nose tackle. He started all 16 games, forcing a fumble and piling up 45 tackles. He’ll start again at nose tackle on one of the better defensive lines in the NFC.
Logan, a 2013 third-round pick out of LSU, will likely serve as Philadelphia's top nose tackle in 2014.
Logan, a third-round pick out of LSU, will play end in Philadelphia's 3-4. He'll provide rotational depth behind Cedric Thornton and could earn some nickel snaps at tackle.
