Wilson was among four free agents who participated in a workout with the Jaguars on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
ANALYSIS
It did not take long for the 2017 second-round draft choice to gauge interest on the open market, as the Jets just cut bait with Wilson last Saturday. The Florida product did not garner much of a defensive role during his three-game stint in New York, collecting a combined 25 snaps. The Jaguars may be interested in Wilson from having seen him play during his time in Indianapolis, though he struggled mightily in coverage during his final season with the Colts, allowing a 139.6 passer rating on 18 targets last year.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2018
2017
Expectations were high for Wilson during his rookie year after the Colts made him a second-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. The Florida product ultimately drew mixed reviews for his performance, though a nine-game absence during the middle of the year likely played a part in his inability to secure a starting job. However, with last year's first-string corners Vontae Davis (Bills) and Rashaan Melvin (Raiders) now elsewhere, Wilson has a clear path to a significant defensive role in 2018.
Wilson, Indy's 2017 second-round draft pick, may be the favorite to eventually win a starting role opposite Vontae Davis. Wilson was a very good corner for a smothering Florida pass defense, showing a physical, press skill set. With a big build (6-foot-1, 211 pounds) and long arms (32 and 1/4 inches), Wilson should make it tough for receivers to get into their routes. With 4.54-second speed, though, Wilson might be a bit vulnerable on downfield routes in the NFL.
