The Bengals signed Basham on Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
ANALYSIS
Basham is now set to join the Bengals in 2023 where he'll ultimately pursue his ninth year in the NFL. The 29-year-old linebacker made seven appearances this past season primarily as a rotational defensive piece for the Cowboys (two games) and Titans (five games), and he'll presumably compete for pass-rushing snaps with Cameron Sample, Jeff Gunter and Owen Carney.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
Basham was picked up by the Jets in October of 2018 after being waived by the Colts, who selected him in the third round of the 2017 draft. The outside linebacker out of Ohio has just 15 tackles and two sacks in his NFL career, but he'll hope to make the Jets out of camp and ideally work in a rotational pass-rushing role. Basham had 11.5 sacks as a senior at Ohio.
