Paul Turner

The undrafted free agent out of Louisiana Tech led Philadelphia with 17 receptions and 165 receiving yards last preseason, but ultimately was waived and signed to the practice squad. Injuries to and ineffectiveness from other Eagles receivers ultimately opened the door for Turner to get his chance in Week 12, and he ended up with a full-season line of nine catches for 126 yards on 14 targets over the four games in which he appeared. This season will be even more of an uphill climb for Turner due to the signings of Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith in free agency and the arrival of Mack Hollins and Shelton Gibson via the draft. Nelson Agholor, whom Turner replaced for a spell in 2016, also remains on the roster and in front of him on the depth chart, as does incumbent starter Jordan Matthews.
