The Montana State product is as serious long shot to make the roster since the Packers have a stacked tight-end corps, including Martellus Bennett, Richard Rodgers, and Lance Kendricks. If he is cut before Week 1, expect him to land on a team that would favor his run-blocking abilities more than anything.
Sandland was selected in the seventh round this year after bouncing around throughout his college years, but tested well at the combine and should be a project for the Panthers at tight end during his rookie season.
