FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

The NBA playoffs continue with three games on Tuesday, including both the Heat and Spurs trying to stave off elimination. We continue to be left with limited options on FanDuel due to the smaller playoffs slates, but here are some players who could still help you finish with a winning lineup.

Guards

Khris Middleton, MIL at BOS ($8,500): Middleton has proven to be an excellent running mate for Giannis Antetokounmpo in the playoffs, scoring at least 43.2 FanDuel points in three of the four games. He's been deadly from behind the arc, shooting a combined 15-for-24 (62.5%) while also averaging 6.5 rebounds per contest. He's a lock to play heavy minutes, making him an excellent option Tuesday.

Jaylen Brown, BOS vs. MIL ($7,300): After a disappointing performance in Game 3, Brown rebounded with 53.1 FanDuel points in Game 4, and he's scored at least 33.8 FanDuel points in three of the four games in this series. His poor performance in Game 3 can be traced to his low usage, attempting only nine shots. By comparison, he has attempted at least 19 shots in each of the other three games. Expect him to be heavily involved in Game 5.

Patty Mills, SA at GS ($4,600): Mills has seen significant playing time in this series, averaging 32 minutes per contest. He doesn't provide much outside of scoring, but he has been able to score at least 25.4 FanDuel points in two of the four games. If you're looking to save money at point guard, Mills extended playing time at least makes him someone to consider.

Forwards

Ben Simmons, PHI vs. MIA ($10,500): Simmons has been a model of consistency this series, scoring at least 49.8 FanDuel points in all four games. His ability to contribute across the board gives him a high floor despite his limited shooting range from the field. He's expensive, but he also could score the most FanDuel points for the evening at any position.

Draymond Green, GS vs. SA ($8,200): Green has scored at least 42.1 FanDuel points in three of the four games in this series despite averaging only 10 points per contest. Similar to Simmons, his value comes from his ability to contribute in multiple categories, averaging 9.3 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 1.8 steals in the first round. If you don't want to pay up for Simmons, Green is also an excellent option to consider.

Jayson Tatum, BOS vs. MIL ($6,700): The Celtics rookie hasn't been overwhelmed by the playoffs, scoring at least 30.9 FanDuel points in three of four games against the Bucks. He only averaged 10.5 shot attempts per game during the regular season, but is averaging 13.5 shot attempts in this series. He should continue to see an expanded role in the offense as the Celtics search for scoring without Kyrie Irving (knee), helping to boost his value in DFS.

Centers

Joel Embiid, PHI vs. MIA ($9,500): Embiid has played well in his first playoff series, scoring at least 39.9 FanDuel points in both games since his return from injury. Despite shooting just 7-for-22 (31.8%) from the field, he's getting a ton of free throw attempts and has also blocked eight shots. He'll team with Simmons to be the focal point of the Sixers offense again Tuesday.

Hassan Whiteside, MIA at PHI ($5,400): Whiteside played 15 minutes or fewer in each of the first three games of this series, but finally saw extended playing time with 26 minutes in Game 4. His production jumped up significantly, scoring 27.6 FanDuel points. He has a better chance of playing more now with Embiid healthy, so he might be worth the risk in tournament play considering his reduced price.

Thon Maker, MIL at BOS ($3,500): With John Henson (back) sidelined the last two games, Maker has found himself as a key contributor to the Bucks frontcourt. He has cashed in his opportunity, scoring at least 25.9 FanDuel points in both contests. If Henson is unable to play again Tuesday, Maker could provide similar value despite his limited offensive upside.
