DraftKings NBA: Saturday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Saturday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Saturday brings the first chance for a team to close out a series with the Pelicans looking to sweep the Blazers. There are four games scheduled, which is one of the busier slates for the playoffs. Here are some players with favorable matchups who can hopefully also help you end the day a winner on DraftKings.

GUARD

Rajon Rondo, NO vs. POR ($7,600): The Blazers have had no answer for Rondo, who has scored at least 41.5 DraftKings points in each of the first three games of this series. He's done a great job filling up the stat sheet across the board, averaging 12.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 12.3 assists per contest. His veteran leadership has proved to be crucial for the Pelicans, leaving him with great upside again in Game 4.

Ricky Rubio, UTA vs. OKC ($6,800):
This series shifts to Utah tied at one game apiece after the Jazz pulled out a close win in Game 2. Donovan Mitchell gets all the headlines in Utah, but Rubio has been very productive in this series, scoring at least 37.8 DraftKings points in both games. He will get plenty of playing time and have the ball in his hands a lot, making him a consideration at this reasonable price.

Corey Brewer, OKC at UTA ($4,400):
Cheap value plays are hard to find in the playoffs when rotations shrink and stars take over. The Thunder's star trio will get the bulk of the offensive opportunities, but Brewer is still going to get plenty of playing time based on their overall lack of depth. He scored 23.8 DraftKings points in Game 2, which is the kind of production that should reasonably be expected from him throughout this series.

FORWARD

Ben Simmons, PHI at MIA ($9,600): The return of Joel Embiid in Game 3 certainly didn't hinder Simmons, who has now scored at least 50.3 DraftKings points in all three games of this series. He continues to provide excellent contributions in multiple categories, even though he's not a threat from behind the arc. With the Sixers looking to take a commanding 3-1 series lead, expect Simmons to have a heavy workload again Saturday.

Dario Saric, PHI at MIA ($6,500):
With Simmons' shooting limitations, Saric's ability to shoot from behind the arc really helps with spacing for the Sixers. He has scored at least 20 points in all three games of this series, resulting in at least 33.5 DraftKings points in each contest. The return of Embiid does limit his upside some, but he can still produce enough to warrant consideration at this price.

Al-Farouq Aminu, POR at NO ($5,500):
Aminu struggled with just 19.8 DraftKings points in Game 1, but he received plenty of playing time with 30 minutes. He continued to get extended run in two games since and cashed in on his opportunities, scoring at least 37.3 DraftKings points in both contests. With the Blazers looking to stave off elimination, Aminu's minute's floor makes him a viable cost-effective option.

CENTER

Joel Embiid, PHI at MIA ($9,100): After sitting out the first two games, Embiid finally made his mark on this series with 45.8 DraftKings points in Game 3. Although he only took 11 shots, he was 3-for-4 from behind the arc and attempted 15 free throws. With Hassan Whiteside struggling mightily, the Heat really don't have anyone who can hang with Embiid defensively.

Kelly Olynyk, MIA vs. PHI ($5,800):
Olynyk is clearly the Heat's preferred option at center, logging at least 31 minutes in all three games of this series while Whiteside is averaging 13 minutes per game. He wasn't overly involved in the offense in Game 3, but he has still managed to score at least 28.8 DraftKings points in all three games. If you don't want to pay up for Embiid, Olynyk can also provide value.

Steven Adams, OKC at UTA ($5,400):
The Thunder were destroyed on the boards in Game 2 with Adams limited to 22 minutes due to foul trouble. He draws a tough matchup against Rudy Gobert in this series, but Adams will get all the minutes he can handle as long as he stays out of foul trouble Saturday. This is the lowest his price has been on DraftKings all series, helping to bring him into the discussion of cheap centers with upside.
