Chris Dominguez

Dominguez was a September callup, and the highlight of the month for him was a home run off Ian Kennedy. He has spent most of the past three seasons in Triple-A for San Francisco rarely taking a walk and striking out aplenty. Last season, in the high-run environment PCL, Dominguez was a 20-20 player as he hit 21 home runs and stole 21 bases before his callup. Overall, this is a high-risk profile as Dominguez, 28, has a lot of swing-and-miss in his game and is a reverse-split righty who has struggled to hit lefties throughout his minor league career. While the reverse splits may help him wedge his way into a weird platoon situation, the lack of contact will likely keep him from doing so.
